WOW how the time flies! ONLY 55 DAYS LEFT UNTIL THE WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait! Not only do I get to marry this super hot stud man, I get to see a bunch of my old pals, too! :D Some of the people I am most excited to see - Haley and Lisa! I haven't seen Haley in 4 or 5 years, and I haven't seen Lisa in almost 7! Both were good friends in elementary school, and were casualties in the Moving-to-Utah battle :/ But they're coming!!! Another friend got a mission call today! Going to SINGAPORE!!! How legit is that?!? :D Now I'm going to know a missionary in South Africa, Korea, Japan, Italy, Brazil, Singapore, (My Guatemala missionary got back this month - YAY!) and...Texas, Washington state and Wisconsin. ;) How exciting! It's great to see these wonderful people go out to serve the Lord and spread the work! PLANNING A WEDDING IS SOOOOOOOOOOO CRAZY!!!! Lots of fun, but crazy :) We picked out and bought my dress last week!(So pretty!) Here's a picture of it. :) ( Picture from the Abella Bridal blog, no copyright infringement intended. You never can be too careful these days :P ) I'll have to post a picture of the dress with the veil some time, it is stunning how well they go together and with the theme! :) My seamstress, who has been doing alterations for decades said she has never seen a veil made out of this kind of material! It's a patterned lace with gorgeous beading around the edges. OH, that's another thing - I went to my first dress fitting, too! :D I am so excited, the dress looks much better without the shoulders sticking up a couple inches and the hem too long :P :D My mother-in-law-to-be (That's a mouthful, eh? Not as bad as my old school name, though. KGMPA is the ACRONYM! So long!) came with us, and that was great! :D She is just the sweetest thing,

I love purple! Before I moved out of my parents' house they created a room for me, from scratch in the unfinished basement. SUPER neat, 'cause I'd never had my own room before! I got to choose which color the paint would be and -ta-dah!-the Purple Fortress was born! Random quirk of mine - I name things. Lots of things. My car, my dad's car, all my stuffed animals (I have lots!) my sister's potted tree, all sorts of crazy stuff!
